About Us

Amrita-Seattle is a grass root USA-based non-profit. Our mission Live to Serve provides essential services to utmost vulnerable at-risk youth, children, and communities, globally in U.S., India & Nepal. 

Globally, Amrita-Seattle serves vulnerable children & youth in utmost rural isolated parts of India and Nepal to break out of generational poverty. From sending a child to school, to providing children with access to tutorials, classroom supplies and libraries, to doctor's check-ups, and home visits, Amrita-Seattle provides children with everything they need, every step of the way to not just survive, but thrive!

Locally in King County, WA, Amrita-Seattle serves at-risk un-sheltered youth, young adults, and marginalized communities living at Teen Feed, multiple King County's Share/Wheel Tent Cities, ROOTS Shelter, Tiny Cabins Safe Harbor, & Sophia Way by providing healthy hot meals, Grand n' Go nutrition bags, and critical winter survival gear, and hygiene packs. Over these services, young people connect with specially trained advocates and support coordination staff to access the resources and services they need to begin a life off the street.
